We came from growth teams that were already doing this by hand.
Crowd Scope started inside a Series B fintech where the marketing team had a private Notion doc called "the listening rotation" โ every Monday morning, three people would manually scan Reddit, X, and Indie Hackers for two hours looking for prospects describing the exact problem our product solved. It worked. It was the highest-converting source on the funnel. It was also unscalable, brittle, and depressing to do by hand.
We built the first version of Crowd Scope as an internal tool. When we left, three former teammates asked if they could license it. That was the signal. Today we are a team of four โ Mira Solano (CEO, ex-Growth @ Pleo), Devon Wexler (CTO, ex-Search @ Algolia), plus two engineers. We are bootstrapped, profitable since month nine, and have no intention of raising.
The mission is specific.
Make the public web searchable by problem, not by keyword. So the next time someone writes "I would pay anyone for a tool that does X" โ the person building X finds them.
We do not want to be the world's biggest social listening tool. We want to be the tool where one growth lead, on a Monday morning, finds 400 named individuals who are explicitly describing what their company solves โ and reaches out the same day. Mira Solano ยท CEO
How we work.
Public only
We index what is public. We never touch DMs, private groups, or gated content. If a post is deleted, it disappears from our index within 24 hours.
No enrichment by default
We give you the public username and the public quote. Email enrichment is opt-in and runs through partners with their own consent flows. Your CSV is yours.
Bootstrapped, profitable, no rush
We are not raising. We are not selling. We are making a product we needed and pricing it so the team using it can afford it from their own budget.
Your next 100 customers are already complaining about something. Go find them.
